Highlighting the genuine impact of donations for research

The average life expectancy after being diagnosed with ALS is only 33 months. Doctors and scientists are currently on the verge of a cure that slows down the progression of the disease. But further research is needed. How could we highlight the importance and genuine impact of donations? On World ALS Day, we gave voice to Mathi and Annie, two recently diagnosed ALS patients who were brave enough to let us literally etch their fate in stone, personally asking the world to give them and other ALS patients more time. By donating for research on slowdownals.be everybody can help slow down the engraving of a new name in stone. Together, we can speed up the research and slow down this ruthless nerve disease.
